The Nigerian Communications Commission is the independent National Regulatory Authority for the telecommunications industry in Nigeria. The Commission is responsible for creating an enabling environment for competition among operators in the industry as well as ensuring the provision of qualitative and efficient telecommunications services throughout the country
The National Information Technology Development Agency is the clearing house for IT projects in the public sector. The Agency is committed to the drive to bring government and its services closer to the people through IT.  Entrusted with the implementation of the National IT policy, which seeks to make Nigeria an IT capable country in no distant future, NITDA has been mandated to supervise the management of the country code Top Level Domain as a national resource

Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to the promotion and growth of the Internet in Nigeria. We are a member only organization, with membership open to all who are interested in the growth of the Internet technology, irrespective of educational background and current field of employment.

Membership includes the academia, non-governmental organizations, government parastatals, Internet Service Providers, private organizations and individuals.
